Win a pair of tickets for BBC Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC Birmingham

BBC Gardeners’ World Live returns with a spectacular Show Garden that’s fit for a King

BBC Gardeners’ World Live returns to the NEC Birmingham (15-18 June) with inspiration, achievable take-home ideas, and plants a-plenty. Visitors can expect spectacular Show Gardens, Beautiful Borders, and floral displays. We’ve got a pair of standard adult tickets to give away for Sunday 18 June, 10am entry, RRP £54 per pair.

Headline Show Garden, A Garden Fit for a King, celebrates HM King Charles III’s Coronation. Award-winning designer, Paul Stone, takes inspiration from Highgrove’s gardens, wildflower meadow and Arboretum, reflecting His Majesty’s passion for gardening and concern for the environment. Paul will be sharing ways to recreate elements of the garden at home.

Two Show Gardens shine a spotlight on women’s health and wellbeing. The Newson Health Menopause Show Garden by award-winning garden designer, Ruth Gwynn, is a tranquil space to find information and advice on menopause and perimenopause. The Liz Earle Beauty Co.’s Botanical Show Garden by award-winning designer, Lucy Bravington, features plants that showcase the botanical ingredients of many of the company’s products, and their ethnobotanist, James Wong, will be sharing daily insights into the power of the garden’s plants. Lucy Hutchings’ contemporary edible Show Garden, We Grow, provides the perfect setting for expert advice about growing your own food.

The Association of Professional Landscapers returns with APL Avenue, its annual members’ competition for back garden inspiration. Over in the Beautiful Borders, designers including TV presenter, Sue Kent, offer inspiration for small gardens and challenging spaces, and the popular Health for Life School Wheelbarrow Competition returns too.

The crème de la crème of gardening experts take to the stage at the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre, as Monty Don, Adam Frost, Carol Klein, Frances Tophill and Alan Titchmarsh join Nicki Chapman in conversation, and share practical tips with the BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine editors.

A day at BBC Gardeners’ World Live isn’t complete without visiting the Floral Marquee and outdoor Plant Village. Browse and buy from specialist growers and nurseries, and get one-to-one gardening advice from plant experts like Saul Walker, Lucy Chamberlain and Matt Biggs. New for 2023 is Hot Off the Potting Bench, a feature display of new plants and varieties. At the Let’s Talk Plants Stage, join David Hurrion for  free drop-in sessions with plant specialist, or join Ellen Mary, Joe Bagley and friends at the House Plant Hub where they’ll be sharing their secrets for happy, healthy house plants.

Tickets for BBC Gardeners’ World Live include entry to the BBC Good Food Show Summer, featuring demonstrations, interviews, workshops, street food, and delicious food and drink to taste and buy. The star-studded line-up includes James Martin, Nadiya Hussain, Michel Roux and Ainsley Harriott.
