Do you think England should play tonight's game tactically or to win?Other teams may play it tactically and for the easy draw but that isn't us is it? you also cant predict who's going to go through anyway (anything can happen) To my mind you have to play the best to become champions of the world so lets play to win and take whoever comes our way in our stride. At least the Germans have gone home - that in itself is worth celebrating. Come on England - do us proudViewDate:

Will you be watching the World Cup?Definitely but only the England games. Although I will also watch the final. My brother is going to 2 of the group stage games in Russia and if we make it will also go on to watch all their other games. If we make it out of the group it would be brilliant as the country starts to get really behind the team and the atmosphere is great and then crash! - out we go. Much fresher younger team this time so fingers crossedViewDate:

Do you think 'grid girls' should be banned in F1?Personally dont see the issue. These ladies know what they are doing when they apply for the jobs and if they are happy to do it then that's their choice.ViewDate:

Should the government take a firmer stance on obesity? We are a nation of overweight people and it pains me to see so many of our children overweight - there is no-one to blame for this other than the parents. Parents decide what their children eat and should be encouraging healthy diets balanced with exercise. There is no excuse for any child to be overweight - parents should be far more responsible in looking after their children and of course themselves. Too easy to blame lifestyle, pressures of working, balancing busy lives etc, It takes no time at all to make healthy nutritious meals and avoid the junk and processed rubbish that is slowly killing us all. The trouble is healthy foods aren't necessarily the cheapest so perhaps this is where the government could step in and try and reverse that trend. After all it well save them money in the long run.ViewDate:

Would you buy products after their best before date?If it says use by I tend to do that - but may go over buy a day after all things don't automatically go off at midnight. I ignore best before. As long as it looks and smells OK then I will carry on and use it. I think its a brilliant idea to sell of this food instead of - I think some supermarkets also give it to charities - anything is better than just throwing it. I recently got some bioglan raw bites in my local poundstretcher for 15p a packet instead of £1.99 they are only made of dried fruit and nuts so what could go wrong and who doesn't love a bargain!! I hope ore supermarkets follow suit, stop the horrendous wastage and give us a bargain to boot!ViewDate:

Are you a fan of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!?I love it - it starts the countdown to Christmas for me. Ant and Dec are brilliant and they laugh so much at the celebrities it has me in stitches. I know its a load of crap really, but it's easy entertaining watching and when the hunger and bickering starts to kick in the guards com down and true colours appear. This year I'm hoping Toff wins, she seems just lovely - although initial impressions was she's a posh privileged girl from Chelsea. Strawberrygate was brilliant - thank you Amir and Iain! - I've always wondered why nobody had done that to date.ViewDate:

Will you be sending Christmas cards this year?No - a complete waste of money. you can just say Merry Christmas to people as you see them. I have just donated the money I would have spent on the cards and postage to Macmillan - I might be a miserable old goat (according to some of my friends) but I feel really good that I've done it!ViewDate:

Will the addition of Meghan Markle to the Royal Family help modernise the Monarchy?I think tradition still has its place but we also need to move with the times. She seems like an incredibly confident woman who is passionate about the causes she supports and watching them on TV last night they seem incredibly happy. Lovely to see Harry seem so happy and find someone to share his life with - who cares if she's mixed raced, divorced or an American - that doesn't stop any of the rest of us so why should the monarchy be any different? Kate was a commoner and that broke with tradition Harry and Meghan are just taking it a step further - perhaps we should be thankful he at least picked a woman! Although I'm sure that time will come too! but perhaps not in my lifetime.ViewDate:

Should all stores introduce gender neutral changing rooms?I don't agree with this. The trouble is there are only curtains and as such I would be uncomfortable with my teenager getting changed and potentially have a man walk in on her by accident. Keep them separate!ViewDate:

Are Advent calendars becoming too commercialised?Yes - everything about Christmas is far too commercialised. Our entire family agree if it wasn't for the children we just wouldn't bother with it. I'm not sending cards this year - instead my money will be going to cancer research or macmillian - something worthwhile. We've also agreed a budget for presents for the adults as it was all getting out of control. I do have to say the children love the chocolate advent calendars and the countdown fills them with excitement - oh to be 8 again !!!!ViewDate:

Would you use Skype to see a GP over a face-to-face appointment?Yes yes yes a great idea for certain things. Saves time for us all - I would definitely use this service. Agree with you Shrew1742 that people should be fined for not turning up - I would set the level much higher thought at say £25ViewDate:

Do you believe we will find a cure for cancer?Yes I think we will find a cure - there have been so many advances already and people are already defying the odds and living longer. I think we should be focusing more on the prevention rather than the cure. A fortune is spent on developing medicines to treat it but we need to understand what starts it in the first place. There are some known reasons but generally it feels like a lottery. I know the healthiest people who have been diagnosed and then others who still smoke, drink alcohol every day, are overweight and generally don't look after themselves and they are absolutely fine. Let's find the root cause as well as treating those with the disease - oh but the pharmaceutical companies wouldn't want us to do that would they - no ££££ in it for them !!!!!!ViewDate:

What’s stopping you from switching energy supplier?I check the market prices every 3 months and switch all the time - it's dead easy. I've never had any problems with the smaller companies - if anything their customer service tends to be better. It's all about the savings for me - the cheapest gets my moneyViewDate:

Should families be able to overrule your wishes on organ donation?I think it should be a case of everyone is a donor unless they opt out. For me it's currently the wrong way round and I would want to do everything I could to help someone else after I've gone. What a gift that is to give someone!ViewDate:

Is it time to buck the trend? We had a hen do and stag do - just a day and night out, We alsogot married out of season in October (glorious sunny day though). Had the whole thing at one venue. We dispensed with a lot of the traditions as didn't want it. We did everything as we wanted it, so no flowers, cake, bridesmaids and frills. We had people to the whole day so no awkward evening guests joining half way through, We paid for everything all the food and drink all day and it was just like one great big party. We also banned kids - as many of our friends had little ones and it was nice for them to let their hair down and enjoy the day. It was one great party and a wedding many of our friends refer to as one of the best they've ever been too. We did it on a fraction of the cost but were strong enough to stand up for what we wanted rather than what people expected us to do.ViewDate:

Are ‘non-competitive sports days’ really better for school children?Life is competitive full stop so children need to learn this and cope with the highs and lows. Learning to lose and to be graceful about it is a life lesson. They reckon children are missing out on learning values such as sportsmanship in todays world because they no longer play boards games and cards like we did when we were young. Children today are praised for doing well academically but not much else. Those that aren't as gifted in the classroom should be given their opportunity to shine and for some sports day is their only time to be the best at something. Let them have their moment!ViewDate:

Should male and female Wimbledon tennis winners get the same amount of prize money?Yes I think they should be paid the same. Women train just as hard and are as dedicated to their cause. They may not be as physically strong but you often get more and longer rallies in the women's game. This makes their matches far more entertaining to watch than the serve and volley of the men's games.ViewDate:

A look back at the best sitcoms of the 70sLove Thy Neighbour - hilarious- although wouldn't go down too well today!! Also absolutely loved The Liver Birds, and It Ain't Half Hot Mum, such classics. My teenage daughter recently watched Fawlty Towers for the first time and thought it was great - she watched the whole series in a couple of days - surprised me how few episodes of them were actually made. Good times, great programmes, they simply don't make them like that anymore.ViewDate:

Is testing recreational drugs taken to festivals a positive step?I think certain drugs should be legalised and then people know what they are taking. It's a controversial one but they will take them anyway and at least they will know they are what they think - the question is which drugs do you legalise - there are so many these days!ViewDate:

Has Theresa May's power evaporated? It's a nightmare and not the desired outcome but it is what it is and we are where we are. Let's hope Theresa May stays as PM - god forbid we end up with Jeremy Corbyn! Let's not forget that Conservative still has the most seats - by a reasonable margin and actually their vote share has increased. Sadly people are quick to forget what a complete mess our country was in when labour were last in power, our credit rating was downgraded and we were in a financial crisis! The youngsters blamed us for Brexit - seems to me they've got their own backViewDate:

Have you changed your mind? There has been lots of interesting stuff come out in the manifestos. It's definitely made me think but not enough to change my mind on who I would vote for. It's always the case I agree with some elements and not others - mind you that assumes they actually do what they say they are going to!ViewDate:

Should the Winter Fuel Allowance be means tested?Yes absolutely it should. why should everyone get payments for fuel allowances just because they are of a certain age. Those that need it should be able to claim it, those who don't shouldn't get it. It infuriates me that it's paid to those who are enjoying the winter in warmer climates. Child benefit changed and is means tested - this should be too.ViewDate:

Are there 'boy jobs and girl jobs' in your home?We don't really have allocated jobs in our house it's a case of we just get them done. I naturally tend to be the one who cooks and does the washing and ironing whereas my husband does the DIY stuff, the grass cutting, bins etc. But there are no set boy/girl jobs. Why do comments like this have to be blown all out of proportion - we all know what she meant and it certainly wasn't sexist - just common sense that some jobs are better suited to one sex (I can't start the lawn mower for example!)ViewDate:

Have you still got your heating coming on in May?I'm doing my upmost not to put it on but cor blimey it's cold !!! I'm sitting at home with several layers on and a blanket on my knees of an evening to keep warm. I have given in a few times and popped it on but my energy bills have gone up so much recently I'm doing my best not to. I really can't remember a May ever being so chilly - or is it just as I age I feel it more!ViewDate:

Should the State Pension be means tested? No it shouldn't. We've paid in so we are entitled to it. I understand why things like child benefit are means tested and agree winter fuel benefits should be too, but these are benefits. Our pension is our right, we've contributed to it all our working lives.ViewDate:

Would you like to see Woolworths back on the High Street? It was a sad day when Woolies went but it's gone and we've moved on! So much more shopping is done online these days. If I do go into my local town the Woolies was replaced on the same site with Wilkinsons who do pretty much the same stuff - including the pick n mix, so in some ways it feels like it's still there!
