Should an immediate ban on microbeads in toiletries be imposed? Some plastics form a useful function but at what price to wildlife and the environment I am glad to read of research into bio-degradeable alternatives. However.I don't believe there is any reason for polluting our seas with these beads except that of commercial profit. If exfoliators are needed in cleansers they can be provided by ground nut shells which biodegrade. This ban can't arrive too soon, but then microbeaded products will start arriving cheaply on market stalls. It'll be a long time before their influence disappears.ViewDate:

Do you support the Junior Doctor's latest planned 5 day strike?Mr Hunt has stated that he does not believe in the future of the NHS so he is biased and not the right person to negotiate in my view. If the government intend to have a seven day health service, they must enable the training of more doctors and give it the resources it needs. If Theresa May believes what she says, that Hunt is 'an excellent Health Secretary' then we and the NHS are doomed.ViewDate:

Win a super stylish Brockford high back chair!I have recently come to understand my late mother's oft-quoted saying 'okd age does not come alone'. In my case osteo-arthritis has come with it! This chair with its firm arms looks as if it would be easy to sit in and easy to leave.ViewDate:

Should attendance rate be considered when fining parents who take children out of school in term time? The pupils health should also be a consideration and particularly so when there a chronic condition is present Friends of ours were shown no understanding about their childrenbeing allowed to use the school library on an outdoor sports day when there was a cold wind. Physical activity for an asthmaticp child .under these conditions can quickly cause a life-threatening breathing problem. The schools position was non-negotiable - 'if the child is fit for school they are fit for P.E (and must be out on the field with the rest of their class) but this is clearly hot true in the case if asthma.
