Is sleeping in separate beds the beginning of the end? Both myself and my husband snore so to get a reasonable nights sleep it was the best option. Also I work late a couple of nights a week. I don't get home until 12.00am. I still sleep on one side of my king-size bed though so he can always join me if he wants.ViewDate:

Can you afford to retire?I retired early from the Civil Service at age 52. It was either that or going completely mad. By doing this I lost 40% of my hard earned pension. I expected to get my State Pension at age 60 but the Government had other ideas and extended the pension age to 66. I am now 63 and have had to go back out to work as I cannot afford to live off my pension. Feeling very aggrieved.ViewDate:

Do you feel comfortable with online banking?I have banked on line for years and never had any reason to doubt banking like this. However just recently I could have been in an embarrassing situation if my transaction had been face to face. I was paying a regular bill and when it got to the security part my transaction was stopped. After several attempts I contacted my bank to discover they had blocked my payment because previous transactions looked dubious. I confirmed that these transactions had been made by myself. I confirmed several other payments before they lifted the block and could then pay my bill. Yes it was great they were suspicious but why didn't they notify me before they put the block on. ? Why did they let me try to carry on making my transactions knowing they would be blocked? If I had been in a shop buying groceries it would have been very awkward if I couldn't pay for my purchases.ViewDate:

Has Harry finally gone too far?I feel very disappointed in Harry. Considering he didn't like the publicity and constant bombardment from the press he is now giving them more and more ammunition to stir up trouble. If he had just gone with his wife and children to America to live a "normal" family life, keeping out of the limelight I would have understood his reasons for leaving his role in the Royal family.ViewDate:

Should the humble Ploughman's lunch become gender neutral?PC is getting ridiculous now. Soon children will be saying person in the moon rather than the man in the moon. Who comes up with this stupidity?ViewDate:

Should all Christmas parties be off this year?If you are sensible and wear your masks when in close proximity to other people I think small get togethers should be ok. I've continuously worn a mask on public transport and in shops. It has become part of the norm. I've also had all 3 jabs. Having a husband who has had a liver transplant because of cancer l have too much to lose if l didn't follow the advice being given.ViewDate:

Will you be supporting small businesses this Christmas? Our town Stockton on Tees no longer has the major stores. M&S pulled out along with Debenhams, New Look, H&M, Evans and several more big names. What we are left with is the local small businesses so yes l will be supporting them. Prefer their unique merchandise anyway.ViewDate:

Christmas then and NowBeautiful poem and so resonant with the current situation we find ourselves in. The meaning of Christmas is families being together not the presents or expensive food. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.ViewDate:

Do you believe the Assisted Dying Bill should be passed? You wouldn't let an animal suffer so why would you let a human. If there is no quality of life or extreme pain surely it is more humane to let the sufferer depart with dignity and release them from the pain.ViewDate:

Are you deterred from going on a cruise or happy to keep sailing?I was booked to go on a cruise in May but due to the corona virus it was obviously cancelled. I must admit I was quite relieved. After watching a documentary the other night I think it will be a long time before I'll go abroad again and even longer until l go on a cruise.ViewDate:

Should Dominic Cummings resign?I know he went against the rules of lockdown but he says he was worried what would happen to his 4 year old son should he become ill as well as his wife. Having no immediate family living near to him I think he felt he had no choice. As long as he didn't come into contact with anyone else i don't see why he should resign. When you see all these idiots deliberately flouting the rules ignoring the 2 metre rule and having parties with lots of people what he did is nothing in comparison. Surely common sense should come into play. I think it's just the opposition parties wanting to cause trouble for the government. The parties should all be together finding ways to get us all out of this terrifying situation.ViewDate:

Are you happy to remain opted-in for organ donation? My husband had liver cancer and last August he had a liver transplant . Without it who knows where he would be today. Unfortunately it takes someone to die to harvest their liver. Thank you to the 79 year old gentleman who unfortunately passed away but was on the transplant register. Thank God this gentleman had the foresight to share his organs after he died.ViewDate:

Hollywood pays tribute to singer and actor David CassidyI am so sad at David Cassidys passing. When I was a teenager in the 70s I loved this gorgeous man. My bedroom was covered with his posters. I still have a scrapbook with his pictures in. Got to finally see him a while back at Newcastle City Hall. All the lovely memories came flooding back as soon as he started to sing. RIP David Cassidy thank you for the memories. XxViewDate:

Will you shop the Black Friday sales? After watching the TV recently it showed how sometimes products are cheaper after Black Friday. Fortunately most of my Christmas shopping has been done throughout the year either in shop sales or on-line sales. Being on a low income made this a necessity.ViewDate:

Will you be sending Christmas cards this year?Yes I will because not everyone i know has computers or smart phones. I love it when the letterbox clings and you hear the post drop on the floor. It is such a pleasant surprise to find cards from friends and family in amongst the bills and junk mail. So if I can put a smile on someone's face by sending them a card then so be it.ViewDate:
