Should there be a specified age to retake your practical driving test?I think there should be a re-take every 3 years after 70 yrs of age. My father has just given up at 89, he was unsafe but insisted on driving, having several minor knocks and scrapes! He is now afraid to drive a licensed mobility scooter, having realised he is unsafe!ViewDate:

Should smoking be brought back into pubs?Madness! People who smoke make that choice, people who don't smoke don't want to breathe in the filthy, unhealthy smoke. This legislation needs to stay in place, to repeal it is a truly retrograde step. It is a health issue and the government should step in to protect health wherever and whenever possible, this is probably one of the best things they have done in the last 10 years. Hands off Nigel!!ViewDate:

Are voters happy with the NHS?I am a recently retired nurse. In the main the staff in the NHS work bloody hard with inadequate resources. I fear that the propaganda is working, tell us often enough that the NHS is failing and we will believe it. I have relatives in the USA and the major outgoing after their mortgage is health insurance, not a small amount either. They do not see a G.P. unless in dire need as each visit costs £30 before treatment. They use over the counter remedies after consulting a pharmacist. If we are not careful, the Government will bring in privatisation by the back door, then we really can start moaning (and bemoaning the loss of our wonderful NHS). -
