Does the new 'Stay Alert' slogan convey a clear message?Or, more likely, Cummings who still believes in herd immunity so the idea will be get the young, healthy, people out and about and let them get the virus as ‘not very many’ of them will end up in hospital, or die, and keep the old and vulnerable indoors until there is enough general immunity. Borrowed this idea from Trump.ViewDate:

Would you support a delay to the final EU departure? This is a forever decision and if it is going to happen at all we need to get it right. If that means taking a bit more time then it doesn’t matter. Future generations will blame us if we get it wrong. There is no rush, just get it right.ViewDate:

Should Theresa May stay or go?The only consideration is what is best for the Country, not the Conservatives, definitely not Labour, and in the middle of negotiating Brexit the worst possible thing to happen would be a change of leader. She needs to deal with the ministers who are undermining her position and take control of the negotiations. Brexit is the most important thing to happen to this country since the last war and our children and grandchildren will have to live with the outcome. The Government needs stability and strong leadership not the distraction of a leadership contest.ViewDate:

Step back in time: to 1963I was 15 in 1963. What a year for teenagers, so different from anything which had come before. We had our own fashion, our own hair styles and the Beatles. If I could revisit any decade it would be the sixties. What memories.ViewDate:

Have you changed your mind?If you have assets worth over 100,000 who is supposed to pay for your care? If it comes 'free' then the taxpayers in general pay. Who benefits-your children who inherit the assets. Perhaps if your children provide your care they can avoid any charge and then inherit the lot. Does that sound fair? It does to me.ViewDate:

Would you like to see the mail, rail and energy industries nationalised? The average fuel bill is about £1000 a year. So you were paying £50 a year ? Really? Postmen now work all day, like everybody else, I use the West Coast rail line and find Virgin and London Midland to be clean and reliable and the off peak prices are excellent, and a fraction of what they used to be. Perhaps you aren't old enough to remember how bad things used to be.ViewDate:

Would you like to see the mail, rail and energy industries nationalised?People have such short memories. The nationalised rail industry was very inefficient, expensive and union dominated. I could not afford to use rail travel in those days but the cheap offers available now are amazing. The same applies to the energy industry, The cost of my gas and electricity has dropped dramatically since privatisation. The old state owned organisations were inefficient and held to ransom by the Trade Unions. Similarly the Royal Mail. Inefficient practices protected by the Trade Unions. I personally knew postmen who would have done their days work and be back in bed before noon. Everybody must have seen how the old push bikes have now gone. I worked in Local Government for 30 years managing the 'hourly paid' labour force but the restrictive working practices were unbelievable and cost a fortune, until compulsory competition was introduced and reduced costs dramatically. Nationalised Industries lead to Trade Union domination, restrictive working practices, and increased costs to the consumer. We must never go back to those days.ViewDate:

Would you vote differently in a new EU Referendum?Depends what you mean by short term, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years ? and for what gain exactly?ViewDate:

Should Jeremy Corbyn Stay or Go?I voted Conservative last time, and a few times before that but there is no way I would ever vote Conservative with Boris in charge. I have voted Labour before and would do again if they had a centralist leader who could command wide respect and put this broken Kingdom back together. Would I vote Labour with Corbyn in charge? you must be having a laugh.ViewDate:

Would you like to see the railways re-nationalised?I remember the railways when they were nationalised. They were the inefficient, overmanned, and poorly managed. Why would we want to go back there?ViewDate:

Do you have insurance for your pet?I do, but the cover levels as they get older go down and the excess is astronomical. Same as Health Insurance for people, when you really need it you can't afford it
