Is there an upper age limit for wearing animal print?Wear what you like at whatever age you like. If it makes you happy, that's all that matters.ViewDate:

Should all pensioners over 75 be entitled to a free TV licence? The BBC can't afford to do without the licence fee from the over 75's? Really? They can afford to pay obscene salaries to " celebrities " for next to nothing. We cannot block BBC from our tellies so, whether we watch it or not, we have to pay. Give the over 75's a break. It's no way going to be the worst thing to happen to the Beeb. Sack a couple of the wallies and it's paid for.ViewDate:

Would you support a delay to the final EU departure? We have already waited too long. Then there has to be a transition period? Let's just pack up and go. We're good enough to do it.ViewDate:

Has the public lost interest in Christmas adverts? The best thing about the Christmas adverts is we get less funeral plan or leave us your money in your will , or that annoying arrogant little thing on Gladstone Brookes adverts. Most advertising bears absolutely no relevance to the product being promoted anyway. Political correctness as opposed to promoting a product.ViewDate:

Is it worth celebrating Valentine's Day?My partner treats me as if it was Valentine's day every day so no need for a special money spinning day. However some are not so lucky so maybe it's needed after all.ViewDate:

Do you use an open fire or wood burning stove?I don't have a wood burner but would love one. Always had an open fire growing up and when I had my family and not one of us has suffered any lung damage. It was much healthier than central heating both physically and emotionally. Loved seeing the fire blazing in the hearth, it had a feel good factor about it. I tend to ignore "experts" as a couple of years down the line other "experts" come along and rubbish the findings of the first lot. You only have to look at the dietary "advice" they keep on spewing out. They change their minds every time the weather changes. Think they need to get a worthwhile job...... like sweeping the streets!!ViewDate:

Does nostalgia keep us from appreciating the present? In this stressed out, whirlwind existence planet of ours it's sometimes nice to put on some music and slip back to times when life was lived at a slower tempo and people had time for each other, not just on a weekend booze binge as seems to be the case nowadays.ViewDate:

Will you be sending Christmas cards this year?I am very old fashioned with this. I love sending an receiving cards. An email or text message just doesn't work for me. I know the cost can be prohibitive but I buy a little bit at a time to spread the cost.ViewDate:

Would you buy products after their best before date?We never had sell by or use by dates when I was young. We didn't have fridges or freezers either. The look and smell of an item told us whether it was good or bad. We didn't stockpile food back then though. We bought what we needed and shopped more often thus reducing waste. It's a whole different world now.ViewDate:

Are you a fan of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!?Have not watched it so probably should not be commenting. I just find "Celebrity" programmes are all we seem to get, or American reality trash like The Kardashians, whoever they are. Most of the celebrities I have never heard of so I must be very out of touch nowadays.ViewDate:

Should we use Happy Holidays instead of Happy Christmas? Why do the politically correct brigade think we should bow down to the rest of the world to "avoid offence" when this is OUR COUNTRY. Nowhere else in the world would this be allowed to happen so stop it now. As far as I am aware not one of our ethnic communities is offended in any way by out Christmas. Christmas is a Christian festival and has to be kept as such. In this country we allow other faiths to celebrate their religious festivals without forcing them to change to avoid offending us (which it doesn't) so why are we being forced into changing ours. Not everything from America is an amazingly good idea!ViewDate:

Has the media become too judgemental?Today's journalists are more concerned with voicing their own personal opinions than reporting actual facts. Thy also seem to have a problem with Eugenie and Beatrice. I don't remember ever seeing a positive comment about them. Leave them alone and report the news not spout personal snide remarks with absolutely no relevance.ViewDate:

Have you still got your heating coming on in May?I have had heating on for 30 minutes in the morning to take the chill off and again for an hour at night as my living room does not get the sun until evening and by then it is too low to heat the place. However tonight I did not need the evening heat so maybe the heating can finally be turned off.... or is that a little too optimstic?ViewDate:

Should Parliament have the final say on Brexit? The ordinary people of this land have had their say so why can't the people who lost stop sticking obstacles in the way to try and turn it around. David Cameron was arrogant enough to hold the referendum believing he could not lose. He and his cronies did, the people have spoken, no more votes necessary. Get on with it and do the best for our country. Stop log jamming the system with petty whingeing and loud mouthed arrogance. Get your heads down and get on with looking after the people for a change instead of trampling them underfoot and treating them with total disdain, the reasons the vote went the way it did in the first place.ViewDate:

Have you ever been the victim of Internet fraud?I have so far managed to avoid the internet scams but have had my debit card cloned. Should shops remain closed on Boxing Day?Years ago I worked in retail and the Boxing Day opening was a farce. Sham sales which fooled nobody and a couple of poor non Christians wandering aimlessly about was the best we did. It's time to spend more hours with family and friends over Christmas as opposed to lining some fat cats pockets.ViewDate:

Jeremy Corbyn or Owen Smith - who would you choose? What a choice, or should I say lack of choice. Whether or not you agree with Brexit, the majority spoke, but Smith is going to ignore that and hold an immediate referendum to" reverse the referendum" if he is elected. Fortunately there is not much chance of that. There is not one person in the Labour party who stands out as a strong personality capable of taking on the Conservatives or making the Labour party electable. Those members of the shadow cabinet who resigned on the election of Jeremy Corbin as party leader are the ones who preached we are better to stay in Europe as we can make more effective changes from the inside. That obviously did not apply to the shadow cabinet? They turned and ran at the first hurdle, how on earth can we trust them to govern the country? Sack the lot of them and start again.ViewDate:

Do you think we’re facing chaos now we’re leaving the EU?The chaos is being caused by the arrogance of our politicians. They automatically assumed there would be a remain vote so made absolutely no provision for the alternative. David Cameron made the promise of a referendum in order to win the last election and now it has spectacularly backfired on him. George Osborne spent a few days sitting in a corner sucking his thumb before he finally plucked up the courage to appear and start throwing around more unfounded threats. Jeremy Corbyn made a half-hearted attempt at supporting the remain campaign and convinced nobody, least of all his own MP's. Why did he not stick to his guns and go with the leave campaign? At least he couldn't have been accused of not leading effectively. However, they have now all been shown what happens when you treat voters with contempt so we may now get more truth and less bluster from future parliamentary candidates, unless they wish to endure the same treatment.ViewDate:

Should advertising be less sexist? Not only is it sexist but most of today's adverts bear absolutely no relevance to the product being promoted. How many women sit in a shop or cafe playing Gala Bingo on their tablet singing that stupid song while the world around them is full of women fighting in a shop or chaotic events happening outside the cafe? Which man came up with that idea? Oops think I am being a bit sexist now. SNAP!!ViewDate:

Should the law be changed on naming and shaming the accused? If the accuser has the right to anonimity then so does the accused. Innocent until proven guilty the rule of law so let's have a level playing field. Either that or splash the faces of the accusers across the media too.ViewDate:

Should the government be spending tax payers money on EU Leaflets with a one sided view? What is making my belief so incredibly important to all you stay in campaigners? Looking at the other comments on this forum you are not in the majority. Is that why you are shouting down the sceptics and picking silly faults to detract from the main issue here which is actually the money spent on the glossy piece of paper.ViewDate:

Should the government be spending tax payers money on EU Leaflets with a one sided view?I did not elect this shower to run the country, I did not believe their rhetoric then and have seen nothing to change my opinion in the time since the election. I respect your rock hard Tory support but reserve the right to wholeheartedly oppose and disbelieve them. I totally believe we are being deceived and the full facts will not be revealed until after the referendum. That is my right and I stand by it regardless of how many people you lobby and contradict on this forum.ViewDate:

Should the government be spending tax payers money on EU Leaflets with a one sided view?I wish to see both sides of the argument and therefore will not be reading the glossy, expensive comic issued by the government. If they think we are unable to comprehend the consequences of votes for and against , and feel they have to spoon feed us their opinions, I wonder what exactly is it that they do not want us to know? The recent actions by members and their families has brought the issue of trust into sharp focus and I am finding it difficult to trust anything this government spouts forth. A televised balanced debate is needed but is it possible?ViewDate:

Is it ever acceptable for a man to be unfaithful to his wife?If either partner feels the need to play the field then get out of the marriage first. The hurt caused by an unfaithful spouse runs very deep and is not easy to get over. Destroy trust and that relationship is ashes. Marriage vows seem to be just meaningless words nowadays so why bother getting married at all?ViewDate:
