Group holidays for age 50+ solo travellersI've travelled with Solos & Justyou mostly on short festive or city breaks & they have been fine. The atmosphere is generally good & they are well organised so you can make the most of your time. Inevitably you will get on better with some people rather than others - but that's life!ViewDate:

Single for a reason? There are several travel companies that specialise in breaks and holidays for people who are in a position to travel on their own - Solos, Just You, Friendship. I've been on 2 Christmas breaks in the UK, a Christmas market trip to Lille & Bruges and a weekend break to France which I've enjoyed very much. As with any group of people you will probably get on with some more than others and you are free to do as much or as little as you want. I've also travelled extensively on my own which I find quite liberating and therapeutic. Being single shouldn't stop you pursuing your passion for travelling!ViewDate:

Would you like to be categorised as 'Mrs M&S'?There was a time when I bought most of my clothes from M & S. I still love their food, accessories and underwear but women's clothing has really gone down hill - poor quality, sizing and fit and so many frumpy styles and wishy washy colours. Increasingly I'm buying from retailers such as Debenhams, Zara and Asos where you are spoilt for choice - so many eye catching colours and designs.
