Should new fathers paternity leave and pay be doubled?A stupid vote catcher. Paternity leave should be abolished altogether. It's another unnecessary burden for small businesses to carry. Maternity leave is bad enough, many small businesses can't afford to employ women of child bearing age and paternity leave may well force them out of business. Big business is not affected as much but guess who the costs are passed on to!!!ViewDate:

Do you find the greeting "Merry Christmas" offensive?I would like to meet the Whitehall moron who said this. He would then know what "offended" really meant and he would have the lumps to show for it. why do these people hate everything British and why are they still in a job? I would also like to meet the person who said they were offended and escort them on to the plane to whatever heathen country they come from.ViewDate:

UK and the EU: Better off out or in?I can do no better than quote Winston Churchill. For those of you who have never heard of him he was the prime minister who saw us through world war 2. We have our own dream and our own task. We are with Europe, but not of it. We are linked but not combined. We are interested and associated but not absorbed. If Britain must choose between Europe and the open sea, she must always choose the open sea. Winston Churchill, House of Commons, May 11, 1953ViewDate:

Are you worried about the cost of keeping warm this winter?Too rich to get benefits - any benefits. Too poor to keep warm.
