Tea to remember

Where have all the chimps gone
Who used to make the tea
While digging up the road
Always on TV

Please don’t strain yourself, Harry
The Channel Tunnel is very long
Not too much milk in my tea
I like my tea quite strong.

Mr Shifter is playing the piano
Do you know the piano is on my foot?
Oh my poor piano
And the bannister looks a bit rough.

I think Harry finally got to Calais
I heard he entered the Tour de France
After his accident, he wanted a cuppa
Riding a tandem, in a bit of a trance.

Bond was sent on a mission
To secure the big bag of tea
Martini not shaken for my friend
A cup of tea would be perfect for me.

Kevin went on his holiday
Quite sure he had nothing to declare
I think he went to the pyramids
To see how his tea bag compared.

When he got back there had been a burglary
The tea leaf was quietly restrained
Sit down and have a quick cuppa
Before you are finally detained.

Think it’s time for me to have a cuppa
And maybe a piece of cake too
Thanks for all the great memories
And helping me to make a good brew.
