A Lovely Cup Of Tea!

A Lovely Cup Of Tea

If life is full gloom and woe and nothing turns out right,
there’s a simple quick solution and it’s often in plain sight.

A lovely cup of tea…

If your day has been quite stressful and you’ve missed your bus again,
or the car has stalled from lack of fuel, so you’ve walked home in the rain.

A lovely cup of tea…

If your dog has chewed your favourite shoes, or your cat has brought a mouse,
or the children have been using paints and graffitied all the house.

A lovely cup of tea…

If the alarm clock fails to wake you up, so you’re running very late,
or bathroom scales are telling you you’re officially overweight.

A lovely cup of tea…

If you turn up to the airport and your flight has been delayed,
or you check your latest wage slip and find you’re under paid.

A lovely cup of tea…

If your football team has lost once more, and left you feeling blue,
or built a flat pack from the store without the final screw.

A lovely cup of tea…

The answer’s very easy,  just put the kettle on,
then sit and savour your fine brew, then nothing will be wrong.

ahh!
