Brexit?

I see no great movement, no committed intent,
We still sit at their table, we still pay our rent,
And though other continents, knock on our door,
The EU, still saps all the goods from our shore.

Our nation said, ‘OUT!’, we all had our say,
So do what we told you, you must obey,
The pendulum swings or democracy dies,
When the Union Jack flies again in the skies.

Bring back the old passport, the book dressed in blue,
There is the symbol, to me and to you,
Great Britain stands proud with historical voice,
Brexit, was chosen, Brexit,  by choice!
Get on with it!
