Got up, made some tea
Just a cup for only me

Couldn’t sleep
Not a peep

Cor blimey what’s the time
Five thirty that’s a crime

Sitting here in the buff
Trying to make this rhyme enough

Tea’s ready for me to sup
Sitting naked with my cup

Just my slippers on
Oh what I do just for fun

Back to bed

But before I go
This much I know

Must take a leak
Before the sleep I seek
