Farewell to my sister-in-law Shuman

FOR SHUMAN JULY 10th 2020

Child of the East in turmoil born,
Father shot, kids left forlorn.
Overcame the storms of fate,
Learned to struggle, and to wait.

A 60’s beauty, gifted too;
Learned to sail as Tony’s crew.
Found her mate in life’s long cruise,
Loved him forever, win or lose.

Heart to heart they sailed through life,
Loving mother, loving wife.
When he passed, despite her care,
The loss for all was hard to bear.

Although the ties to earth you sever
You’ll be in Tony’ arms forever.
Farewell sister, longtime friend;
Steadfast, amazing, strong to the end.
