Foggy Days

My lighthearted view of having many foggy days which I’m sure many can relate to!

Foggy Days

What day is it I’m not sure
Everything’s a bit of a blur
Ran the water, having a bath
It’s cold again, got to laugh

Boiler not on, what a silly Sue
Time and time this I do
Have I really taken my pills
Do I need to pay my bills

Open the microwave, make an omelette
Soup still in, last night forgot it
How many times have I checked that door
Stop it , don’t do it anymore

Only made it as far as the gate
Hurry up, or going to be late
Went to the shops, found it hard
Didn’t remember to take the card

Oh dear, where is my black car
Sure I didn’t leave it this far
For dinner I’ll be waiting forever
Cooker turned off, oh how clever

Forgot to put money on electric key
In the dark soon I will be
Bins are out, plus the sack.
Its only Tuesday. put them all back

To see things in front of me, to be able
Was sitting there all the time, on the table
Oh how I laugh many times at my own fogginess
But a new good memory would be a bless
