Forget me not

Forget me not a flower so blue, and as I looked I thought of you
Forget me not you said one day, then calmly went away
To leave me with a broken heart,and a promise of love that we’d never part
Forget me not if you can,for I am woman born of man to walk this earth upon this plain,
To love and laugh and be the same as anyone who ever lived
With hopes and dreams and still forgive the torment that you put me through
And then to know I thought of you
