Although we often have Facetime kissed,
There have been so many ‘firsts’ that we have missed,
Your first walk, your first cake…
It’s just not the same on a video take

But we will make do, to keep you from harm
And we will wipe away tears and remain very calm
Because here goes the phone again and it’s Mummy’s ringtone tune
We can wait for your face to light up our room

And there she is – our busy little bee
Happy 1st Birthday, darling Mila – we’re as proud as can be!
