I share your fear

I share your fear

A moment of sadness
Can send many tears
Thoughts send you to darkness
In a moment of fear.

The key falls down
That unlocks your heart
Opens the gates
In full view, from the start.

But those who love you
Hold the same key
Fear the same thoughts
And see what you see.

I will cry with you
Let our hearts beat as one
Lean on my shoulder
Till all your pain is gone.

With a lighter heart
Happiness will appear
Fears folded away
Dried up all your tears.

And yes those fears
Will again come to light
But until they do
Be strong and fight.

You’re never alone
I will be there for you
You won’t have to call
It’s a fear I share too.
