Listen to the scallop shell

Listen to the scallop shell

Listen to the scallop shell;
Sea hushing, blood rushing;
In the garden there’s a bird
Bliss and joy in every word
So determined to be heard
What I find is quite amazing
Even through the triple glazing.

Listen to the scallop shell;
Banish all the sounds of hell.
Concentrate on peace and calm
And hear the sounds that do no harm.
Pacific break to ease your mind,
Strife and worry left behind;
Before you’re willy-nilly hurled
Back to the tumultuous world.
Listen to the scallop shell.
