Living Your Best Life

Living Your Best Life

The crisp virgin snow
Like a fresh linen sheet
The bird’s morning chorus
As they chirp and they tweet
The first sip of coffee
On a brand-new day
The beauty of the trees
As they swish and they sway

The welcome sound of silence
A space to just be you
An unspoilt piece of paper
To embrace each day anew
The pitter patter of raindrops
As they sprinkle on a tent
A trip down memory lane with
Thought of special times you’ve spent

A visit to a coffee shop
To meet up with old friends
To reflect on all those yesterdays
That we thought would never end
To feel at one with nature
As you saunter round a lake
Time to ponder future plans
And decide which road to take

To embrace the changing seasons
As the trees, their leaves do shed
And to see the spider’s splendour
As he weaves his magic web
To just be in the moment
And to marvel at it all
Then you are living your best life
And should feel 10 feet tall
