Mumbles holiday ….

A week in Mumbles, what a delight,
A pretty little town, a welcome sight.
A lovely cottage, all you could need,
We soon felt at home, oh yes indeed.

Right in the middle of Swansea bay,
A beautiful coast line in every way.
A walk to Swansea, for all kinds of shops,
A walk to the Gower, for beauty, there’s lots.

Around each corner, the views are there,
Time to sit and enjoy, time to just stare.
Wild flowers, birds, the surf crashing in,
Get out and walk, not to would be a sin.

Over another cliff we find another bay,
All are so beautiful in their own way.
We walked the coastal paths every day,
Worked up an appetite, what more can I say.

So many places to choose where to eat,
Inside or out, a good view with each seat
Whatever you fancied, you could find right here,
Chinese, Indian, Italian, fish and chips by the pier.

Creamy ice cream, the best we’ve ever had,
Leave it all now, time to go home, that’s sad.
More of the Gower that we want to explore,
We will be coming back, that’s for sure.
