Look what we’ve all got to look forward to, how lucky are we!! Spring is my favourite season 😊

New Beginnings

A brand-new day, a moments cheer
Our long-awaited spring is here
With the gentle warmth of the sun’s embrace
To put a smile upon your face

The gardens start to come alive
As winters chills, they did survive
The tiniest buds begin to grow
Preparing for a dazzling show

The days grow longer, brighter too
To lighten the way for me and you
Spring really helps the way we feel
To nurture our senses, like a hearty meal

Like new beginnings, that’s what they say
A zest for life, with skies less grey
A chance to shed our winter woes
To see what the road ahead bestows

For spring has sprung, and life feels brighter
Rejuvenation, our hearts feel lighter
Awash with colour, our wondrous world
The flowers now grow, their beauty unfurled
