The Olympics 2016

The Olympics 2016

The light of the torch
Glows around the globe
Rio de Janeiro
Where dreams will unfold.

Gold is the aim,
Silver and bronze
Your national anthem
To who you belong.

Twenty eight sports
In which to compete
You made the team
The aim now is to defeat.

Heartbreak and tears
Are set in stone
Pride and joy
For each one to own.

The five Olympic rings
Blue, black, red, yellow, green
Five coloured rings
To fulfil all your dreams.

To all countries
I wish you well
But come on team G.B.
For great stories to tell.
