Tomorrow will be a Good Day

Tomorrow will be a Good Day

Captain Tom, you are our hero
You are ninety-nine years old
A retired army veteran
with a heart of gold.
At these troubled times
You are an inspiration
For folk all over the world
You are just sensational

Whilst our country is on lockdown
many people do not know what to do.
Yet you decided to walk about
In your garden, to raise a bob or two.
“I  will do 100 laps
Before I turn a Hundred
I will give it to charity”
Well the money came in abundance

Such a lovely unassuming man
Millions of people were cheering you on.
When you walked that hundredth lap
and you calmly said “I will carry On”
You have served your country well
What you have achieved is amazing
We send you good wishes and God bless
For all that money you have Raised.

A True Great Briton
