First up we’ll make a ham.  There are some great tricks I can teach you for getting the best flavour out of your ham, how to cook it and how to make it look mouthwateringly wonderful.  We’re going to make Gravadlax – cured salmon.  It’s great as a starter, for canapés or just to have on standby.  We’ll make red cabbage – a great staple for Christmas and we’ll also make an utterly delicious and very light sweet short pastry to create your own mince pies along with homemade mincemeat.
