Have you received your Winter Fuel Payment yet?
Winter Fuel Payments should have been issued by this week - act if you do not have yours
Many of you have got in touch saying you haven’t received your winter fuel payment yet, and there are several threads in the Forum with many of you expressing concerns.
Winter Fuel Payments will provide important support to those struggling with heating bills amid the cold weather. As the payment should have been issued this week, those who have not received the sum are being urged to claim.
Winter Fuel Payments are specifically designed to assist eligible people with the cost of their heating bills as Britain experiences a cold snap. With more time spent indoors, it is likely energy bills will soar, and the payments could offer vital aid to certain people. The sum will be available to those born on or before October 5, 1954, who lived in the UK during what is known as the qualifying week.
This is particularly the case given the payment should have been issued by January 13, 2021 – the week just gone.
If a person has not received their payment, they are being encouraged to contact the Winter Fuel Payment Centre.
Individuals here will be able to determine the situation and issue a payment if intended.
Automatic payments should have been made to those who receive the state pension, or those who get another social security benefit.

In fact in some cases it will produce a minus, so one does not have to be a bacalaurean to work out the result..............worse off again.
If someone has a cuddly ,furry pet such as a cat or dog which could be used on the lap, or in bed to provide warmth then these people will be placed lower down the winter fuel payment scheme. Those who do not have cuddly furry pets will receive their payments first. Anyone owning a Newfoudland Hound will be assessed seperately.
Caveat is that the foreign owned power companies will be entitled to claw back this money by using confusing tariffs to the betterment of dividends paid to foreign shareholders to keep them warm and cosy during the winter.
