Would you like to star in ‘Silver Love Island’?

In case you’ve spent the last 72 hours living under a rock: Love Island is back.

Aimed at the younger generation, Love Island is a reality dating show where single people move to a luxury paradise in the hope of finding love and the summer of their life. To remain in their luxury paradise, contestants must couple up and win the hearts of each other and the public, as they ultimately decide who stays on ‘Love Island’ and who goes.

Love Island’s return to TV screens was watched by an average of 3.3 million viewers – the highest for a launch in the show’s history.

Since the reality dating show was revived by ITV2 in 2015, overnight ratings for the first episode have increased every year.

The contestants are always 20 somethings, who are chiselled beauties and visually perfected for the TV screen.

The series airs for eight weeks and the winning couple stands to pocket £50,000.

So is it time to shake it up a bit? How about a Love Island for the older generation?  Would you like to spend a summer on location in a fabulous villa trying to find the love of your life?
