I'm a late convert to Rod even though I grew up with his music as a teenager in the 1970s. I saw him at an open air concert in Taunton Cricket Ground at a Marie Curie fund raising concert in 2014. What an atmosphere and such a show (and he is still a flirt in his 70s). I love listening to a mixture of songs across the decades.

Rod, probably as much as anyone else has provided most of the soundtrack to my life. In truth I prefer his older stuff. I was lucky enough to see him and the original Faces on their first UK tour many many eons ago. Sadly, his voice has been 'knackered' for past few years, so I won't go and see him 'live'. But still enjoy him on record. And what about 'Handbags and Gladrags' or 'The killing of Georgie (pt 1&2)'? Probably his finest hour, before the bright lights lured him away. In the second part of his career he did a fantastic job of 'Downtown Train' and 'People get ready'. A trooper and a true star. Thanks Rodney

My favourite song. Anything he's NOT on. Can't say singing on as his gravelly voice set my hairs on end, no way can it be class as singing and I liked everything from that era
I Never liked him in his early days with Jeff Beck or the faces and noticed when he went solo those groups became popular.

Rod is my favourite musician of all time...cant wait to see him live again in June...a great entertainer and very talented singer/songwriter. As to my favourite song there are so many but Maggie May is one and The Killing of Georgie was poignant for me when it was released. I also like a lot of his American Songbook work. So much variety over the years. In his 70s he may be but he's still sexy!!!
