Christmas Carols

Christmas Carols

Dave buys his son some plastic bricks
Helps build stuff out of pity
They make a town fit for a King
A Royal David’s City

Carol takes her sister’s clothes
Parades in stealed apparel
Sis then won’t speak to her at all
She’s now The Coventry Carol

Noel rises early
So her Christmas shop goes well
She joins the queue before the rest
She is The First Nowell

Ivy joins a dance school
Learns the Rhumba and the Jivey
She finds a friend called Holly
Thus The Holly and the Ivy

Harold is a choir master
Such festive joy to bring
The choir wear white, the audience Hark
The Harold Angels Sing

King Arthur has a bad sore throat
His festive face turns white
He jousts quite without speaking as
He is The Silent Knight
