Fields of the Brave

Fields of the Brave

The fields are now silent white and green
The fallen men in shadows only seen
We remember those who gave their lives
For the freedom today we who are survived

A splash of red worn with grace and pride
As we remember those we would walk beside
For all those blessed souls who fought so brave
They fell and bare their name on stone etched graves

Though many years have passed them by
Many hearts are torn and tears fall a silent cry
For they do not grow older we will remember them
Images of war we share of all the gone brave men
