Ghostly Treasures

Ghostly Treasures

Come take my hand and walk a while,
Through memories past that made us smile,
Now hold me close as you did before,
And kiss me softly just once more.

With gentle fingers touch my face,
And take me to that better place,
Of joy and passion and lots of fun,
Where you and I could be as one.

Now bite and fight me as you did before,
And have your fill and beg for more,
Take me hard and kiss me deep,
Relive a memory for us to keep.

Hand in hand we walked for miles,
Through dreams and memories that brought back smiles,
Then you pulled me close…. and held me tight,
And kissed me softly……throughout the night.

When I awoke you were not there,
Just an empty place now laid bare,
Your scent and warmth, though fading fast,
Were ghostly treasures you knew would last.
