My cruise

My Cruise

Tho’ on this ship for many days
Locations still are in a haze
You may think I choose to walk a lot
Or that I like it …….  indeed  not

If I pass and then repass your chair
Please be kind and be aware
Why I stagger up and down your aisle
I’m awfully lost ….most of the while

Or if I’m staring at the map
Remember my directions crap
I also pray to God on high
I’ll share with you the reason why

When I do find the ladies loo
I beg him, please, there’s not a queue
I would do line dance or the quiz……..
if I could find out….where it is!

I have always written poetry but when my husband died suddenly I used it as a kind of therapy. I don’t usually share these unless I feel they will help someone in distress. The ones I share are mostly humorous intended to bring a smile in what I feel can be a very lonely world..
