Snowman

Snowman

It was a very cold and snowy night and all was very still
A Snowman stood there tall and proud surveying all around.
Icicles hung from the trees like giant fingers pointing.
A little bunny hopped around feeling very hungry.
He scrabbled in the snow but no food there was found.
He gave a little sigh as his little tummy rumbled.
The snowman watched this bunny and then he said out loud.
Come eat my carrot nose, I’ll pull it out for you.
The little bunny nibbled and crunched upon his carrot.
He gave the snowman a great big smile
And said thank you very much.
The snowman smiled his crooked smile and watched the bunny hop
Home to his warm burrow to sleep the night away.
