The Abbey

The Abbey

Of mystery and magic
An abbey all undone
The stories could be tragic
But of them we know none.
We can and should imagine
Those hooded figures there
Their toil and all their passion
The trials they had to bear.
And sometimes as we wander
So calm and full of ease
What ghostly shape, we ponder,
Stands there amidst the trees?
