Lost for words

Lost for words

A sting in the tail you’ve taken the best
Too tragic for words a peaceful rest
A hero to us you went above and beyond
We eagerly watched our caps we donned

Wise words you spoke with impeccable grace
Walking to raise aid for the NHS a smile on your face
A true gentleman throughout all of your years
For tonight hearts are heavy eyes fill with tears

We will not forget all that you gave
The monies you raised many have been saved
I’m lost for words………
Sleep tightly Sir Captain Tom
