My DWP Journey

My DWP Journey

The problems seem to be ongoing
They never get it right,
Chins up all you good people,
And continue to fight the good fight.

I had to leave work one September
No Universal Credit I got,
I was put on ESA for a year,
Then no money not a jot

Claim PIP a kind person told me,
With help from our Eric I gave it a go,
Now the process is all over,
In the bank I now have some dough

I have left work due to chronic health problems. I used to love walking especially along the coast on holiday, arthritis has stopped me doing that. I live on my own, I used to have two rescue cats but due to Asthma they have had to be rehomed. I enjoy reading and I am interested in photography and geology/Paleontology especially micro fossils. I am really proud to have discovered two new species. When you have problems you discover who are your true friends. It is so easy to get depressed when you have difficulty in getting out and about. Now I have been inspired to write poetry.
