Not Christmas

Not Christmas

I won’t mention Christmas, I promise I won’t.
Not mistletoe nor snow or holly red berries.
I could mention tinsel or baubles and trees
But that would say Christmas and that I can’t do.

I won’t say roast turkey, or hot Christmas pudding.
Not presents nor cards or shiney red bows.
I could mention Santa, or sleigh bells and toys.
But that would say Christmas and that I can’t do.
