Chalet Tomkins, Route des Chalets, Méribel

The original chalet was built in 1958 by Sir Edward Tomkins, one of the founding fathers of Méribel, on an old goat track which is now Route des Chalets, THE most exclusive address in Méribel. The chalet was completely rebuilt in 2002 by its new owner, Sir Edwards’ daughter, who has recreated the original feel, blending the essence of the old by mixing original local artefacts and family heirlooms with luxurious furnishings.

Chalet Griottes is situated on the Doron piste so is truly ski in/ski out, and is directly above the centre of town on Route de la Renarde. Recently renovated and extended, with interior design by a top Parisian decorator, Griottes is truly unique – a smooth blend of classic mountain style and ‘contemporary chic’. The chalet has featured in many magazines including Voyage de Luxe, Résidences Décoration and L’Essentiel de la Décoration.

Each chalet and villa has a fully stocked wine cellar with a large selection of wines, champagnes, soft drinks and bottled water. We are able to source specific wines and spirits on request.
