Artlegarth Lodges – the perfect anti-dote to a busy life
If you ever fantasise about getting away from it all then Artlegarth Country Lodges could just be the perfect place for you.
Artlegarth Country Lodges are just 3 real log cabins spaciously positioned on a 7 acre site, offering total peace and tranquility, yet conveniently located just one mile scenic walk/drive from the picturesque village of Ravenstonedale which boasts two popular real ale pub restaurants.
Each log cabin has been recently refurbished with its own unique homely décor and every detail has been thought of from a welcome tray with cake on arrival, complimentary toiletries, local handmade chocolates in the bedroom, crisp white sheets and a fluffy towel bale for each guest. Each cabin has three bedrooms (one king size double, one twin/double and one bunk bed room) with each lodge benefiting from its own private Hot Tub for added luxury, it’s the perfect setting for you and your friends or family.
Whilst the comfort and warmth inside the lodges certainly has its allure, the stunning views of open countryside with the fells in the distance will undoubtedly tempt you out. The private hot tub on the decking ensures that you can stay outside all year round, enjoying watching the light dance over the fells whilst the resident wild red squirrels, rabbits & birdlife put on their performance in the landscaped grounds. At night a blanket of stars pepper the night sky and the Milky Way can often be seen, which is a truly wonderful way to spend a relaxing evening.
The owners, Jennie and Neil Riding, have an inexhaustible passion for the area and are happy to share recommendations on places to eat and things to do if you tell them your preferences. They also champion local businesses and have worked with them to offer a selection of luxury in lodge treats, including hampers of local food, spa treatments and a range of catering options from barbeque packs to a fully prepared three course meal cooked by a local chef in your lodge.
If you have a special occasion then Jennie and Neil are more than willing to assist in decorating your lodge, putting you in touch with the local cake maker or arrange Champagne on ice ready for your arrival. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you only have to ask. Despite owning the lodges for only eighteen months they already have assisted with two marriage proposals, four honeymoons, a silver wedding anniversary, countless birthdays and a engagement celebration that requested towel animals for an in joke- a quick YouTube tutorial and they happily obliged! However, once you have checked in to your lodge you are left to enjoy the peace and quiet with the assurance that the answer to any enquiries are only a phone call away.
The 7 acre private landscaped grounds are perfectly positioned for exploring the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales it is the perfect opportunity to spend lots of time pursuing hobbies and exploring not one but two National Parks or you may just find that you don’t get much past the hot tub.
A 3 night weekend or 4 night midweek break start from £395, with weekly rates starting from just £550, making the lodges not only luxurious but affordable too.
When booking a midweek break quote ‘silversurfers’ and receive a special offer voucher for £30 to be redeemed against an in lodge treat of your choice.
