There’s something quite special about enjoying a piece of homemade Yorkshire Parkin with a cup of tea on an autumnal afternoon. With this recipe, you can make your very own within just two hours, and enjoy the sticky, aromatic, delicious flavours that ensue. This recipe makes about 14 pieces. Make sure you keep it in an air-tight container as its sticky texture will develop over the next couple of days.

One for a rainy day

When the weather’s a little glum out, getting the oven on and baking a pie not only makes your home smell incredible, but gives you a hearty, filling dish to look forward to at the end of the day.
