Memories

Memories

Memories are treasures we cherish like collections of seashells
Each one unique and important to ourselves
Reminders of happy times recent or long ago
With friends and family at favourite places that we know
Recollecting life achievements marriages and births
Recalling each year our sun goes around the earth
Remembrance of beloveds who have passed away
Keeping them alive in our hearts every day
Memories like picture postcards in the mind
Connecting one another forever intertwined
