If Only

If Only

My husband passed away suddenly
Now a robin flies into my garden
And lands at my feet.
His red breast looks beautiful
But why does he come to me?

Was he sent by God to let me know I will be alright
And to watch over and take care of me
Or it just my imagination
Because that is what I really want to believe.

That somewhere there really is a God
Who loves and cares about everyone
Including you and me.
