Hello I am a newby
Watch this postI live in the west midlands. Am retired, unable to get out very much. Love discussions especially something controversial, my sense of humour is dry. I love wild open spaces, animals/wildlife and cooking. Enjoy hearing peoples views from politics to religion, fashion to food....just go for it.

Like you, I am rather restricted as to travelling around, so am reaching out to the online community to discover some interesting, stimulating discussions.
Am a leftie, where politics is concerned, and that seems controversial in itself, in this world, where the media is owned by a very select elite that wants to peddle its own version of life.
I enjoy creative writing, and reading, and am determined to try and carve out some sort of living for myself in that line. Perseveration is my name. Music from the 50's to the 90's mostly, with the odd singer of today surprisingly catching my ear with something that sounds fresh..
So, if any of this fires up your interest, then I'd love to get some words back from you on this...?
