Travel companion for long travels abroad.

Hi I am new to this site. I have been travelling for many years, lately having lost my wife it has become lonely and expensive as a solo traveller. I go away for few months at a time, making the most of the opportunities available to explore the world. I tend to go away for the winter months and would be looking for like minded individual, non smoker, happy and easy going person to share accommodation and transport costs with. Or I am happy to join anyone going to warm places in winter months on the same basis. I am 63 years old male of Indian origin. I spend at least two months in India. Each year I choose two states to travel for a month in each state. This year I hope to go there from mid November 2019 to mid January 2020. Travel within India is by all modes of transport, public and/or private. Accommodation varies from 5 star to basic depending on the availability, but can be based on the means of my companion. Usually I end up spending anything from £2500 to £3000 per trip as a single occupancy basis excluding return flights to India. So with a companion sharing it can be approximately half that. Also looking to go away for a week to Croatia, on 12th Feb 2020 on a bus tour, costs Approximately £325 including flights, transport and accommodation on two sharing basis. If anyone is interested I will be happy to meet up with and explore feasibility. Happy travelling. [email protected]

Hello I am a 57 year old single Mum, working full time. I have many friends but none free to travel with me. I’d love to go for city breaks with someone. I’m interested in exploring places, enjoying different cultures and am interested in places such as Budapest, Berlin, Poland, I would only have a small budget so would be looking at basic travel, maybe self catering with occasional meal/ snack out. I’m independent but sociable and like to share experiences with someone else. We could compromise on what we want to see/ do. I don’t want to trek or walk hundreds of miles but I’m happy to sight see and to wander at leisure. I like using local public transport rather than organised travel. Is there any one who would be interested? I live in the South East. I’m not looking for romance or a date just companionship with a like minded person who doesn’t need me to look after them?

Hi, I'm a 60 year old female looking for a travel companion. I would love to go back to Malta or Rhodes but really don't mind a holiday in the UK , Europe or USA . I find these singles holidays are really expensive so would prefer a female companion who doesn't mind sharing a twin room.

Hi, I plan on doing a series of day hikes in Patagonia for about a week or so early in October. Probably not camping but staying in hostels and or hotels. Nothing yet is definitely planned. I am a 60-year-old Canadian male, in fairly good shape, and I'd like a female companion 50 - 60 years old. Any interest? Pete

Hi I’m a new surfer, 57 yr old female, looking for a travel companion. I’ve been widowed for 10 years, and would love to share travel experiences again...being on your own is not much fun. I mainly travel around Europe, but will to try something new. I live in North Lincolnshire, only work 4 months a year, have my own car...willing to drive to meet up with the right person.

Hello, I'm a happily married female 56 ; husband is more content at home. Looking for fellow females to join UK and further trips to explore both cities and country side. I'm physically fit and a non smoker. I drive. Like walking. Enjoy eating out. Not remotely interested in night life centres. A glass or two of wine after a long walk is just wonderful to share with friends. Please ladies get in contact to discuss further.

Please drop me a message if exploring parts of the UK sounds of interest. I'm happily married but with a husband who is happier at home cutting the grass and walking the dog. I like walking, exploring rural and urban areas. Non smoking I enjoy a glass of wine with a meal. Definitely not interested in nightlife apart from the theatre Semi retired professional. This site I find really difficult to use but I'll check in regularly over next month. Today is 25.6.19. I also put add on Gumtree..

31 days travelling in India - looking for a companion to travel with

I have been planning a trip to india, but have been let down by the person who was coming with me. I'm 67, married and have been to india 6 times , I always go budget, using a lonely planet guide. I have an interesting itinerary planned which will involve some long (36 hours ) and longish (15-18 hours ) train journeys and longish bus journeys. I'm thinking of flying to delhi and going straight to agra for the Taj Mahal, on to Mahabalipuram for a nice beach and the shore temples. On to Shravanabelagola for a 15 metre statue at a Jain Temple. On to Allepy for the backwaters and then up to Mumbai for a few days. then onto see the statue of Unity. (587 feet tall.) then to Lonar to see a large meteor crater, about a mile across, then up to Amritsar for the Golden Temple and go to the closing of the border ceremony at Wageh, and then meet a friend I met in 2008 who is a colonel in the Indian army. And then back to Agra and on to Delhi for return flight. I live in Bristol. UK. I'm thinking with flights and travel, hotels, all in I suppose, it should cost about £1200. That's assuming hotel rooms at £5 pn.. everybody says that they always wanted to go to India.......well, heres your chance.
