It’s never been easier to travel the world and live in far-flung countries. And while this ability brings with it plenty of advantages, it can be difficult for families who suddenly find themselves living thousands of miles apart. How do you keep in touch with your family who are overseas?https://www.silversurfers.com/lifestyle/family-lifestyle/long-distance-grandparenting/
Hi anyone from England moved to Northern Ireland?I'm 64 retired, divorced, with friends, but I miss my son and grandchildren so much. They moved 3 years ago.His wife is from NI (yes, you lose a son when he gets a wife!) I've visited lots of times. I've racked my brains, on either renting a place over there for a while etc I'm really sitting on the fence with making a move. The thing that bothers me most is how easy would it be to make new friends - has anyone had experience of doing this?
