Later this afternoon it's the World Cup game between Scotland and England at Hampden Park, Glasgow I remember when these teams battled it out every year and especially in 1967 when we beat the World Cup winners of 1966. What is happening to rugby players, I have just been watching Wales v South Africa, two very powerful teams, spent all their time standing around and tying shoe laces, slow. If they had put a spurt on they could have won many more points, what do I say? Pah!
Although I live in the U.K. I got hooked on baseball about 20 years ago whilst visiting Toronto and have returned on a number of occasions to watch the Blue Jays, as well as attending games in Boston, Seattle, Anaheim and Tokyo. I subscribe to mlb.tv so am able to keep up with what is going on. Are there any other baseball fans on the forum?
So it looks like Sam Allardyce is about to be unveiled as the new England manager. I feel a little underwhelmed by this, but I suppose its just a further indication of the current level of English football. Any thoughts?
