Renting overseas

Hi thinking of escaping the winter blues by renting a small place in Gozo. I am looking for any recommendations of areas to stay and those to avoid. Plus more generally what about my post, can it be redirected by royal mail? What do other people do? I cannot rely on any family as they don't live nearby. Any advice will be gratefully received.

Hell all. I am learning Italian online and am really enjoying it. Does anyone have any advice on: a) immersion courses (I think that's waht they are called) where you stay in Italy for a few months and get taught about the language, culture, expectations, etc, or b) renting a place for a few months and sorting things out from that? Any help would be great. I am desperate to travel again! John.

Does anyone know of any? Preferably with an enclosed garden for my two dogs to have fun in!
