The very best time to visit Maine is in October.
There are few tourists, no bothersome insects (black flies, deer flies, or mosquitoes), comfortable temperatures, and gorgeous autumn leaves.
Alaska is the best travel destination. Northern lights are amazing and it is so beautiful. You can view beautiful northern lights here and also you can enjoy various adventures also. It is one of the best place for photography also.
Three couples, all in our mid - late 50's are spending a few days in Oslo in late December then seeing in the new year before returning home on 1 Jan. If anyone's been during this period, have you any suggestions where to go and what to wear? Many thanks.
Disneyworld is so addictive for some adults, even more than for kids. Staying in a Disney resort really makes the trip. I've taken my son and his family, a trip that left me broke, but it was such a great vacation. Disneyland would be way more practical for me, but can't talk the rest into trying it. Disneyworld is such a huge place that they feel that Disneyland would not compare.
More than 200,000 pensioners are likely cash in their entire retirement savings next year when new pension reforms are introduced, pollsters revealed last night. Research by Ipsos Mori for The Times has found that one in five OAPs will use part of the windfall to pay for a holiday. What are your views or plans?
I am travelling to York soon and have been trying to buy a ticket.
I am so confused because I have to use several different train companies, and travel through London to go from station to station.
I have found a site that splits the fare.
I do not want to commit myself to catch a certain train so can anyone advise me as to how to buy a ticket online, or is it best to wait for the day. although I think that is probably an expensive way to buy. :x :x
