New member looking to make like-minded friends
Watch this postHi I have just plucked up the courage to join in order to make some contact.
I am a very fit and healthy and bright 72 yr old who loves to play the piano, paint and garden.
I have been caring for my 76 year old husband who was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s 5 years ago following a head injury.
It is very isolating especially as we were living abroad so we do not have friends in the U.K. I feel it is time I started to meet more people.

I have only just added myself to the Silver surfers but it doesn’t look as though there is much recent activity on this topic. Perhaps we need to ignor the dementia and try something more cheerful to distract ourselves!
