That's a good idea. I would also be willing to meet others to make travel plans and think a travel group is a great idea. I would love to travel but don't want to go it alone.
Response from Willie made on 19th Mar 2016 17:09:09

Hi all,
I'm at a point where I would like a holiday buddy, nothing booked yet, I love All Inc. holidays in the sun, and a relaxed and chilled out break for a week (or two), would like to book a couple of trips this year but rather not do it alone, would be nice to find a buddy/companion and maybe friend to share it with...
Response from Adventure02 made on 7th Mar 2016 08:18:34
Do you have any destinations in mind?

Hi,I am looking for someone to share the costs of a 35 or 50day cruise as the single suppliment increases the fare by almost half again,so unfair.
There must be others in the same situation who would prefer to share the cost rather than pay this excessive extra charge.

Do you think it would help to find people to travel with if we say which airport we would travel from and what holiday we would really like to go on (beach .sightseeing etc.) wigsywoo made a good suggestion .

No joy in finding anyone who wants to go to Canada.Think I might just have to pay the single person supplement and go on my own!

Hi, I'd like to go to Canada - Vancouver/Vancouver Island/VIctoria (and possibly Seattle) sometime between Jan and March next year. I'm interested in exploring co-housing with a view to moving out there. But it looks a great place to explore anyway. Any takers to join me? I seem to have become 59 somehow - but have a young and alternative outlook, and pithy sense of humour. I'm independent and widowed, but it's more fun with a travel companion I think - if we resonate.

Hello. I am Stuart, 72. I live in Sydney but coming to UK in ’16. My wife doesn’t travel, so looking for a companion for a couple of weeks. Have Skype. Address is [email protected]. I’m not sure of plans or dates as yet. Should like to correspond/skype beforehand. Have been making enquiries about a walking holiday in Cornwall, but am up in the air (as usual).

Hi Fi, Have you visited Vancouver Island before?
I joined this site today looking for travel buddies for an up coming trip to New Zealand and Aus. However at the top of the pile of posts was yours which really caught my eye because I live on Vancouver Island. I was wondering why you would want to travel here between Jan and March? We have a rainy season here which stretches usually into April and although we live in by far the mildest part of Canada, due to the high humidity ( 100% give or take a couple) the 5 or 6C temperatures feel really cold. But all weather warnings aside this is a most beautiful part of the world inhabited by warm friendly laid back people. I'm sure after you visit the Island you'll want to move here too.
If I can help you with anything then let me know.
Response from Fi made on 23rd Dec 2015 19:50:30
Hi Karl, Thanks for your comments. I haven't been to Canada before. Perhaps it is best to go a little later! It all started with my daughter deciding she's had it with the UK and looking to do some study in Vancouver possibly, or get a work/holiday visa with her BF. It does look beautiful. And I'm interested in co-housing, and it's more advanced in your area, so thought I'd like to take a look. Anyway, I'll let you know when I make firm plans. Have a great trip in Australia!

Would love to meet anyone who lives in the area, (male of female) also happy to meet up in Aus when i go home.
Would be nice to have someone to have a coffee or a wine, the best coffee shop here is Coast, at least it has a lovely fire, great coffee, food & wine.
I live on Gold Coast, Queensland. Is a beautiful spot.
Love to sail, drive old cars, play tennis, golf, ride horses, bikes, etc etc.

Looking for compatible but independent travel companion. I travel 4-6 months of the year but my wife prefers to stay at home. My reaching out was her idea. (we have no secrets). Current schedule is March-Bhutan, May- France. July- New Zealand, Patagonia in February 2017. Can carry more than my share of expenses. Can travel to assess compatibility. Athletic, informed, flexible, well-breed.

Anyone interested in a coach tour of Canadian Rockies flying from Gatwick Aug 5th 2016? My friend has had to pull out of this so I either pay a huge single person supplement and be brave enough to go alone or find someone else who would like to go, preferably female as its sharing twin rooms.
